Visitor Information Center
Lantana offers a full service Visitor Center located in the heart of the community near the Town Green. If you are interested in making Lantana your family’s new home, we encourage you to stop by for more information about Lantana schools, location, lifestyle, neighborhood and builder information. The Visitor Center is also the home of The Lantana Community Association.

Town Green
In the middle of the Town Center, the Town Green offers a lush setting for gathering with friends. Designed to further unite Lantana residents, this common ground features a gazebo and serves as the site of community-wide social gatherings. Concerts, festivals and other activities are part of an ongoing calendar of events.

Trails and Green Space
Enjoy the extensive hike and bike trails that run throughout 300 acres of permanent greenbelts in Lantana. We’ve taken extra precautions to build underpasses beneath major thoroughfares, so there’s no fear for children crossing busy streets. Over 10,000 trees have been planted throughout the hundreds of acres of green space in Lantana to maintain the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country.

Water Spray Park and Pools
Lantana offers five junior Olympic-size pools located throughout the community. Anchored by theCentral Amenity Center, home of the Lantana Lightning swim team, and North Community Center pools, residents can take advantage of the three additional neighborhood swim centers and playgrounds. The water spray park, at the Central Amenity Center, is filled with whimsical moveable features and plenty of space to allow children to have fun in full view of adults at the pool.

On-Site Daycare Center
North Star Academy is an on-site Daycare and education center located in Lantana. North Star provides excellent care and early-childhood education for infants through kindergarteners as well as after-school daycare programs for school-aged children. They offer extended hours to accommodate the busy schedules of Lantana parents as well as Parent’s Night Out twice monthly and summer camps.

Schools
At Lantana, we know the education of your child is one of your top considerations. It's our priority as well. That’s why we created a special education foundation to support Lantana’s neighborhood schools as well as the entire school district. As part of the Denton ISD, Lantana has three on-site schools: Two elementary schools and one middle school are located within Lantana.
